How you can help

This issue will only be addressed if enough Canadians make it clear—to policymakers and those responsible—that they are aware of the concerns and expect transparency and accountability.

Firstly, please share these findings with any of your friends or associates who may be interested.

Because:

  • this is a David/Goliath battle and Goliath has used highly devious tactics to abuse 99% of Canadians,

  • the welfare of millions of struggling Canadians are at stake,

  • numerous Canadians have abandoned their mandate instead of advocating for CPP reform legislation,

  • my diplomatic emails for eight years on this topic have generated almost zero response, aside from Premier Smith,

  • when it has been suggested enablers belong on The Reverse Order of Canada List (The List), response and concern has become considerable,

  • I am disgusted with the one hundred or so Canadians who have enabled a cover-up that that is depriving so many struggling Canadians of so much,

I have adopted extreme measures. I will be notifying all enablers that, because they have defied their personal or organizational mandate, they will be placed on The List - those who have done the most to deprive millions of struggling Canadians of hundreds of billions of deserved dollars. One associate stated The List should be called Canada’s Version of the Epstein List. The Epstein scandal horribly abused about 30 girls. This CPP surplus cover-up is abusing millions of horribly struggling Canadians. My associate may have a point.

Hopefully, some will be unaware of this cover-up and advocate against it. And others will know they are guilty and want to avoid being placed on The List.

Meanwhile, thanks to:

  • Premier Smith’s desire to bring CPP benefits to deserving Albertans,

  • actuaries trying to confuse Canadians by claiming Alberta deserves 53% of our CPP fund,

  • the media’s attempt to portray Canada’s most ethical politician on this issue, Premier Smith, as unhinged,

  • Albertans considering separation largely based on Ottawa’s unfair treatment of the CPP,

this cover-up is starting to unravel.

Nevertheless, three powerful, colluding industries probably still have many more strategies to suppress the news of the CPP’s surplus and potential. This is because billions of dollars and thousands of jobs are at stake.

The perpetrators or enablers of this cover-up are not criminals. However, all of them have completely defied their admirable mandate, possibly for cash, thinking their inaction would never be detected.

And now it has been detected. And now they will be in a possibly bestselling book on the CPP that provides convincing evidence they belong on The List.

For most, they never dreamed their under-the-radar participation would soon be universally known. And they never dreamed the impact of their participation would be so damaging. Many will want to backpedal, to exercise damage control, to salvage an unblemished reputation and protect their legacy. These enablers need to be told “The jig is up.” by thousands of incensed Canadians.

Many enablers may decide to tell the financial industry,

“I did not sign up for this exposure and will no longer agree to it. I am going to advocate for CPP reform before it is too late. Instead of Canada’s villain, I can become Canada’s hero.”

If enough Canadians bombard enough perpetrators with the suggested emails below, the huge benefits described here could eventually reach 99% of Canadians.

The following emails are just samples. You may want to alter the wording to be weaker or stronger.

Prime Minister Carney is the lead in this cover-up

Mr. Carney could easily say to the financial industry,

“Sorry but we can no longer protect your industry. Too many Canadians are struggling and too many others are aware of your efforts, no longer under-the-radar. And Alberta may soon separate on this issue.”

If enough concerned Canadians sent the following email to him, he might be decide to act for all Canadians, not just the financial industry.

Dear Prime Minister Carney,

Based on the website, www.fixthecpp.ca, the evidence is overwhelming that our CPP fund now has a $500 billion surplus which could be used to assist millions of struggling Canadians. A no-risk $200 billion CPP surplus distribution could lead to immense relief for the near-half of my fellow Canadians who are now within $200 of insolvency.

Moreover, by notifying young Canadians that a $100,000 CPP pension in 2026 dollars is likely, you could provide financial and emotional relief to Canada’s young who are struggling much more than older Canadians.

The CPP holds 10% of the lifetime earnings of most Canadians. Our Chief Actuary has deceived Canadians because his profession is at-risk, thereby depriving millions of struggling Canadians of hundreds of billions of deserved dollars. Please follow the recommendations of all pension experts and appoint a CPP Board of Governors, with most members either contributors or pensioners.

Based on Town Hall Meetings, Albertans may separate because you refuse to treat the CPP using standard pension practice. Your legacy may be the Prime Minister who let Canada split in two so that Canada’s wealthiest 1% could become wealthier at the expense of the other 99%.

Your failure to exploit this opportunity is suspicious. I will not be voting Liberal in the next election unless your party can address this gross injustice.

Sincerely,

A concerned Canadian

Your MP remains mysteriously silent

With a $200 billion CPP surplus distribution, your MP could bring $770 million to the people of his riding alone, and much more. Yet he has remained mysteriously silent.

MPs must vote as their leader orders. However, for many, endorsing such an undemocratic cover-up is becoming progressively distasteful, especially when almost half their constituents are near bankruptcy.

Moreover, the prospect of not being re-elected, as indicated below, may force them to request or demand a change in party policy. All MP’s email addresses can be found here. If you don’t know your MP’s name, just enter your postal code in the Search Box.

Dear Mr./Ms. ____________,

Based on the website, www.fixthecpp.ca, the evidence is overwhelming that our CPP now has a $500 billion surplus which could be used to assist millions of struggling Canadians. A no-risk $200 billion CPP surplus distribution could lead to immense relief for the near-half of my fellow Canadians who are now within $200 of insolvency. And it could bring your constituents $10,000 each, on average, $770 million in total.

Moreover, by notifying young Canadians that a $100,000 CPP pension in 2026 dollars is likely, you could provide financial and emotional relief to your riding’s young Canadians, who are struggling much more than older Canadians.

Regardless of what party you represent, you and your party have been mysteriously silent on an issue that 99% of Canadians would vote for. It appears that all parties have agreed to join Canada’s mainstream media and not discuss the CPP’s surplus, thereby blatantly ignoring the principles of democracy.

Because of your inaction on this crucial issue, I will not be voting for you in the next election. I await your response, defending your inaction.

Sincerely,

A concerned Canadian

Organizations that have ignored their mandate

I have sent these details to numerous organizations with a mandate to either help individual Canadians, help stimulate our economy and/or help businesses thrive. The organizations include CARP, Probus, CANAGE, CFIB, Canadian Chamber of Commerce, United Way, Generation Squeeze, Democracywatch.ca, Evidence for Democracy, and the Broadbent Institute.

None of these organizations have responded to my emails or acted. They are all acting as if the financial industry strategically decided,

“We need to give Canadians the perception that numerous democratic organizations are actively looking out for them. Let’s create them, fund them with one condition - Never mention the CPP’s surplus.

Consider the United Way. One estimate indicates the major Canadian banks alone each give tens of millions of dollars annually to the United Way. United Way executives don’t want to jeopardize that cash flow in the slightest. If fighting for CPP justice could result in a reduction in donations, executives understandably remain silent.

The United Way might receive $100 million from the financial industry that is, after expenses, passed on to less fortunate Canadians. This $100 million might result in each member of the CPP receiving, $5, on average. For perspective, a $200 billion CPP surplus distribution would give each member of the CPP $10,000, 2000 times as much as $5. Moreover, wealthier Canadians would donate some of their unexpected windfall gain to charity, possibly totaling even more than charities now receive.

The representatives of these organizations all act as if they must Never mention the CPP’s surplus. At the time, this condition probably seemed like a minor irritation to them. However, your email below might help them realize their inaction is having a profound impact on millions of struggling Canadians and their own reputation.

Dear Mr./Ms. _______________,

Based on the website, www.fixthecpp.ca, millions of my fellow Canadians are now struggling with financial difficulties. The website provides a no-risk solution that could give a deserved $10,000 to each of 20 million Canadians, thereby considerably improving Canada’s GDP, productivity, employment, business profits, income inequality, poverty, charitable donations and mounting deficit. Moreover, young Canadians could be notified that a $100,000 CPP pension in 2026 dollars is likely. This would give them more cash today and less anxiety regarding a retirement in poverty.

Finally, 100,000 low-income seniors will die this year earlier than they should, with a lower quality of life. That is because they will not be receiving their deserved surplus payment of roughly $10,000 each from the CPP’s $500 billion surplus. Standard pension practice demands they be paid.

However, the evidence indicates improved CPP legislation would result in Canada’s financial industry losing billions of profit dollars and actuaries experiencing a large drop in employment. This may explain why this obvious solution to millions of struggling Canadians’ problems is being ignored.

Your organization’s mandate is to advocate for legislation that would bring benefits to most Canadians and/or our anemic economy. It appears you have elected to remain silent on such a crucial issue, instead of combating what the evidence indicates is a massive cover-up.

Professor Macnaughton wants to put you on his Reverse Order of Canada List - those who have done the most to deprive Canadians of deserved benefits. To avoid this disgrace, I suggest you act now and pressure politicians into doing what is best for 99% of Canadians, not the wealthiest 1%.

Sincerely,

A concerned Canadian who wants justice for the 99%, not the 1%

By alleging a participant in this cover-up belongs on The List, I may face some legal risk, However, with so many Canadians possibly eventually receiving so much, I will take the risk.

However, the above non-threatening emails that I hope you will send are simply concerned Canadians using freedom of speech to critique others.

On behalf of millions of struggling Canadians, we hope you will take a few minutes and send these emails.

Sincerely,

Ross Macnaughton
